Tenderpixel is pleased to present T E N D E R F L I X : a week of experimental film
screenings. For the third year running, Tenderpixel is collaborating
with Rushes Soho Shorts, providing visitors with an opportunity to view some of the most
intriguing contemporary experimental films from all over the world. There are multiple creative
ventures occurring in the gallery and on Cecil Court throughout the festival, so be sure to
stop by to catch a flick from talented emerging short filmmakers.
TENDERFLIX & RUSHES DAILY SCREENINGS : JULY 22-30th
Tenderpixel is again converted into a mini-cinema and in collaboration with Rushes Soho
Shorts Festival (RSSF) Tenderpixel will be screening the Tenderflix 2010 selected films
programme as well as a diverse selection of RSSF's guest programmes. Screenings are held
daily at 11am, 1pm, 3pm, & 5pm. (With the exception of July 25th & 26th as Tenderpixel is
closed.) The screenings are all free events, stop in any time!
TENDERFLIX: EXPERIMENTAL PREMIERE & DVD LAUNCH JULY 24th
For its third year running Tenderpixel has commissioned and selected the experimental
component of Rushes Soho Shorts: TENDERFLIX. This year's selected films will be
screened daily, and the premiere DVD launch of the TENDERFLIX compilation will be on the
24th of July from 5-8pm. The films & filmmakers selected for the festival will be announced on
the 10th of July, The judges for the 2010 selection of the films were: Sunshine Frere, LaToyah
Gill, Etan Ilfeld, Phil Ilson, Hanna Peretz, Tal Rosner, Jocelyn Peachey, Hedvika Matlova,
Lisa Slominski, Julian Henriques, Josephine Halbert, Eftihia Stefanidi, and Helena Sainz de
Vicuna.
Selected 2010 filmmakers are: Paul Burt, Sara Bjarland, Matthew Mackisack, Theo Tagholm, Assaf Hayut, Roman Rappak, Marnie Hollande, Robyn Woolston, Derville Quigley, Ro Rao, Giovanni Scarfini, Yvonne Buchheim, Tom Badley, Holly Stevenson, Ninja Miori, Emma Passmore, Tony Hickson, Bret Battey, Sam Firth, Vron Harris, Marjan Laaper, Kate Rowles, and John Youssef
